On September 14 (Saturday), the “International Initiatives for Cooperation” association organized a local action within the Steps4Lead project. The IIC team and volunteers got involved in a cleaning camping of the territory of town of Razlog.
A locality named Golak Hill was our goal. It is visited daily by many local people and by tourists. It is a very symbolic place for the town of Razlog. A lot of rubbish is generated regularly. In order to attract local people to join the campaign an online promotion of the event was made by IIC staff.
As a result, many young people concerned by nature conservation supported us and the campaign. Altogether we cleaned the area around Razlog Observation Tower and the Golak Hill and collected more than 20 bags of trash.
